This was unusual stormy weather for July in Guernsey and it lasted for 2 or 3 days. The wind was force 7 to 8 and with low pressure which made it worse. It was filmed at Saints Bay, Guernsey in the Channel Islands on the 6th July 2008.
The boats were moving around violently and it was actually worse the night before as one of the boat owners told me. All the boats were in the water and over the 2 to 3 days one boat ended up upside down in the water and another dragged it's mooring about 100 feet and smashed into bits on the rocks below the cliffs.
The larger boats are about 15ft long and the smaller ones are about 8ft long. The waves did look worse in real to what they seem on my video.
I love it when it's rough down there. Great when swimming, might be dangerous but still fun, haha

Yep me to, but I don't swim in deep water it's scary. Watching Jaws films put me off.
