The Dears--Saviour

The opening number of their show at the Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights, Ohio on Saturday, May 9, 2009, and what an opening! It'll be hard to see, because Murray Lightburn began singing in the midst of the darkened club and proceeded to hug as many audience members as he could, but you can catch his silhouette from time to time and, besides, the sound at least is pretty clear. I missed the very first part of the song because I didn't know the concert had started behind me--I was standing close to the still-empty stage when the voice over the speakers started to sound too good to be a recording.

I was at their concert last night in Denton, TX. It was amazing! This entrance shocked everyone as no one noticed he was just singing in the back.
