Vodafone Romania HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, HSUPA 1.44 in 350 orase

Liliana Solomon, CEO Vodafone Romania, announced today that the operator offers HSDPA download speeds of 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA upload speeds of 1.44 Mbps in its entire 3G footprint, covering 350 cities in Romania, meaning 45% of population.
The operator offers a range of 6 data subscription offers, starting from 9 euro/month, and includes an offer for unlimited traffic.

Also, Vodafone Romania completed the migration of its network to IP and is ready for HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, with commercial services to be launched in the following months, as soon as handsets become available.

Solutiile Vodafone sunt, in general, wireless (adica fara fir, "prin aer" - cum spuneti dvs.). Nu e vorba de conectarea mobilului la computer, ci de niste echipamente speciale (modem-uri) care se pot cumpara de la operatorul mobil. Aceste modem-uri se activeaza tot printr-un SIM-exact ca si telefonul mobil si cu ale se pot face navigari in Internet, se pot da si primi SMS-uri si email-uri.
