I agree with your observations. She did seem uncomfortable in the cabaletta, but otherwise sang the aria with great feeling. Some singers seem to be polarizing, and I could name a few, but Renee has beautiful voice, even if I don't always understand her interpolations.

@simisimi9 She is very hot for her age though. Her voice is even more beautifull.

I have attended operas, whenever I could not help it, for fourteen years now; I am sure I know of no agony comparable to the listening to an unfamiliar opera... that sort of intense but incoherent noise which always so reminds me of the time the orphan asylum burned down.

PREFER LISTEN MARIA CALLAS THAN WATCHING AND LISTENING TOTHIS FULL OF BOTOX LADY

I understand she's trying to 'make art' here, but the interpolations don't quite seem to fit.for my taste. Something about staying true to the style of the composer is much more tasteful. Maybe I'm just a traditionalist, but that's just me.

something's wrong with 49 people...
She sings in Europe frequently, including Paris where opera fans are very picky. She's celebrated there. Jealousy is a horrible emotion. Just ask Othello,

that's why i believe as well. they hurl the same attacks. she's mannered: although they never define mannered. it's the most ambuguous critique i have ever heard. they also say that she's jazzy, but her opera sounds nothing like jazz. they only say this because she is unashamed about her jazz background. some even try to criticize diction. the diction critique is the most annoying imo because in most cases it comes from a person who doesn't speak the language that is being sung.
