(HD) CN Night Action on the Mainline of Mid-America 11-20-09

20:25 - C75091-20 ( Pond Creek Mine , Johnston City, Il - Mounds City, Il)

In the small town of Dowell, Illinois we catch a soutbound loaded coal train with a very neat lash-up consisting of a CN ES44DC, an IC SD70 and a GTW GP38-2.



20:50 - X43291-20 (Champaign, Illinois -Memphis,Tennessee)

Now in Du Quoin Illinois we see a SB Extra train roll through at a solid 40 MPH , the K5HL sounds great as it echoes off the city walls. Notice the kids running across the track with only seconds to spare before the ES44DC crosses the crossing.

I think they had alot of freight out of Champaign that day, Because A432 picks up SB Champaign Cars at Mattoon. My uncle was the engineer out of Champaign on this train, But got off at Centralia.

X432?? Is that supposed to be similar to the A432 here? Need some information about the train please! :)
