  • hmm well, they contributed a very well invention that's why they're in the noble prize...

  • @physicalKinetics lol.....

  • ... and the future is now.

  • with all due respect...check out smith's pants! i love it! also great are 5:17, 6:31, 7:02, and finally 8:34. i think the reason that i get such a kick out of it is because i'm a scientist and (for better or worse) i see a lot of myself in these guys! the fidgeting, talking to the floor and always struggling to be very precise in their statements have great comic effect!

  • Congratulations to Willard S. Boyle and George E. Smith for winning this year's Nobel Prize in physics! Truly amazing invention.

  • My Warmest CONGRATULATIONS for an astonnishing profound technical achievement and of course for the great Nobel Prize in physics for this year - without the CCD sensor, the so many important space exploration probes, like the Mariner probes, the Voyager probes, the Vikings & so forth, and all the amazing photographs they have sent back to earth, it wouldn't be a reality - it all could be made technically possible thanks only to the advanced CCD sensor!
