I'd had the privilege to attend a Japanese festival in my area that happens every year to commemorate the dead (as it's believed this is when they return to visit).
In Japan, it's not only very big, it happens for three days. Around here, though, it's compressed into one afternoon.
I'd taken some video clips from my time there. It includes some taiko (a traditional Japanese drum and drumstyle), followed by a traditional set of dances that go along with Obon. A Japanese festival wouldn't be complete without fireworks!
