@deejayroyalt1 i assume that you are not a musician, if i am wrong then my foot is in my mout... from what i heard devin was depressed when he remixed this song. I love both songs, there is nothing wrong with remixing a track that is 20 years old by a classic artist. i wouldnt have found this song without devins remix

rick was a hell of a bassist and a pioneer though most don't give him the credit for it he influenced a lot of grunge and alternative bassists

this is what u play when u hit that good liq or bust that check ya feal?
They took the live version off, but got it before they did. If you get a chance it's mind-blowing. The talent this man had was not of this earth. Dream Maker and Spacey Love are right there with this song. Thank you Rick, you'll always be in a class by yourself.

Rick James(RIP) is the king of punk rock...Show this brotha some respect...whats all this crap im reading about a sample is better than the original? Most of the todays music is garbage...Get a sample and throw a garbage azz beat with it. its cool that you kids know rick james because of dave chappelle or the superfreak sample(MCHammer). Theres alot of music that Rick left us to listen to...My two favorite Rick James albums are street songs (1981) and throwin down(1982).
