Nooo, I'm sure the government is just really, really concerned about our cavities, and so decided to put this in our water whether we wanted it or not. For our own good. Because they care so much about us. And our cavities.

@yusufak No, I'm sorry, you are wrong. The Netherlands does not presently add fluoride to the water & hasn't since 1973 when the High Council of the Netherlands declared fluoridation of drinking water unauthorized. Dutch authorities had no legal basis adding chemicals to drinking water if they will not improve the safety as such. NO part of the Netherlands has fluoridated their water since 1973. (they started fluoridation in 1960)

98% of west europe is fluoride free & tests have proven their teeth are just the same or healthier than ours here! Maybe I'll move to Italy or Spain...no, France! Hey, I've got an even better idea! How about we just stop adding fluoride to the water here in America!! Best idea yet!

@AntiAntiAmerica Well, actually I know this out of experience. I've had recent discussions w/ 2 dentists & the hygienist, and they are rat stupid! It's impossible to get any knowledgeable information out of them. They didn't even know if fluoride was fda approved or not! People like you are too fearful of how others will perceive you that you don't even bother to research. sheep
So what about all the names in history that tried to stand up against fluoride? Do you think they're just crazy?

There are filters that will get the fluoride out of your drinking water. RO units get most of it and there as whole house filters that say they work too. Do a search and you should find something. You can also drink bottled spring water.
