It seems to be exactly like the Texas weapon system version, it even runs the same price the only difference I can see is that you can completely remove the dust cover...

Looks like a good sollution to an old problem. The side mount was...okay, but I think this will work better. Love how drop in ready it is, and if I am not mistaken, seems to allow you to retain an iron sight as well.

Yup, it has a rear sight still, and it co-witnesses with an optic like the T1
