I have always liked this song from 38 Special and plucked this one out of my bucket list. I didn't realize until after I posted the video that I played a wrong fill sequence at the 2:16 mark, it should have been 2 1/8 notes on the snare followed by a crash x 3; and no fill at 2:21 ) . Oh well, its all part of the learning experience....On another note (no pun intended) you've gotta love how my snare head keeps hanging in there with that much of the coating worn off. I just want to get my money's worth..ha ha... This drum video is intended for educational, critiquing and comparison purposes.

Cool. Just checked it out. I like both and could tell you did a fantom hit on snare. Pretty cool. Also, the guys just said they wanted to play All The Small Things by Blink 182. Have you covered that one yet? It would be cool to see how you'd play that one. I'm not a huge fan of the song, but the fills look pretty good. Should be fun. Thanks again!

@Rgoldenboy1 Now that is cool. Kock'em off their seats. It's a great tune and a very fun one to drum to. great groove. I do have another later post of the same cover which is actually closer to the studio version. Either one is okay but you may want to check the other one out. Belive it or not the toughest part of learning the song is when to start the drums. It is not on the beat you think it is. You may notice I slightly fake a hit for the snare with my left hand then come in...Nick
