Solo Taps

This is from a trip my high school band took to Washington DC. We performed at the WWII memorial the day after memorial day. It was a huge deal. It was the best trip I've ever been on and I'll never forget how much of an honor it was to play solo Taps there. :D

As a Veteran of the Iraq War, I want to thank you for the outstanding job you did. All too often when I go to a funeral of a Fallen Comrade, it's a recording of Taps. Thank you for keeping the real thing alive.

It was a true honor to play it there. I have played echo Taps the last 2 years of high school for the Veterans Day assembly and everytime I play it, I am reminded of all those who have sacrificed for me to live free int his country. So in return I would like to thank YOU. :)
