  • Bill Haley, Gene Vincent, Buddy Holly, Dale Hawkins are the kings of "rockabilly". Nowadays, Nowadays, The Stray Cats too.

  • Maybe Brian heard Joe Strummer's pre Clash rockabilly band the 101ers?

  • (A Flashback response to this vid from me YouTubes account circa '82 'or '83!!!!! "I dig Setzer and The Cats but please Brian don't bother pondering on the influences or styles of The Mighty Clash from your pigeoned holed perch!

  • ROCKABILLY WILL LIVE LONGER THAN EVER!!! i jam to STRAY CATS, ELVIS, WANDA JACKSON, EDDIE COCHRAN, BILLY LEE RILEY, EDDIE COCHRAN, COLLIN KIDS and lots more who started/ originated "ROCKABILLY" and funny thing im 21 a young cat. hehehe.. so it just proves that this MUSIC/ LIFESTYLE will LIVE FOREVER! :)

  • Good Clip......over.

  • one correction...the Rockats were anglo /american..Levi and the Rockats were English...Levi leaves and Smutty n Dibbs carry on with the Yanks Barry ..Tim...and Jerry No;lan of the NY Dolls and Heartbreakers fame

  • Takes me back to the days when we still thought Rock and Roll could could be revived. The music scene was bursting with young bands pushing the envelope in a dozen different directions at once. Who'd have thought it would get this bad so fast.
