@mmartini50 it was on BBC radio, several radio channels etc. Most of which were uploaded to youtube.
If you were expecting a mass conversion to happen then you had higher expectations than me.
Each event was packed, and people who are in the know were well aware of it.
It's a more complex issue than this though, but attendance couldn't have been any greater as every seat was filled. Notably, the X Factor has more seats :)
Once again though, i don't know what you were expecting.

Wow... now that's a dramatic Promo

@Christianjr4 Yes, I did see Dawkins article, and it was the only time this event found it's way into my consciousness. I must say I thought it a big mistake by Dawkins, an admission to me that he'd been stung into action by the juvenile taunts of internet bully boys. He succeeded in giving just about the only piece of naaaaational newspaper coverage to your hero - a big error imo. Still overall, not amounting to much in the grand scheme of things.
LOL it was a big non event. Excellent!

@mmartini50
A "big non event"? Hardly! Thousands of people came out to hear Craig's lectures and debates (many more will see the video/audio recordings), tons of interviews were conducted on the radio, lots of publicity through major UK newspapers, and even a documentary is being planned to come out of this. All in all it was actually pretty significant for a tour trying to promote reason and faith.

@Christianjr4 Well I live in London, watch TV, listen to the radio and buy newspapers. I can tell you that it made not a ripple in this country. People were interested in the Jackson trial, the X factor, and the eurozone - but not in this non event. His silly shenanigans over Dawkins all came to nothing. Hah!

Well then you obviously didn't pay close attention to your newspapers and radio because there were a number of instances where the tour was mentioned. Even Dawkins wrote an article responding to why he won't debate Craig at the Sheldonian. How did you miss that report? I'm not suggesting the Tour was headline news over there or that it was more popular than the X factor. I'm just saying it was fairly significant for an organized tour involving the "reasonableness" of theism.

@mmartini50
Also I think your attempt to shrug this off as nothing seems more emotional than rational. Whether you supported the tour or not (obviously in your case you clearly don't) you can't deny it was quite successful for its type. That it wasn't as popular as the X factor is a remarkably weak point. If that's your standard comparison then even Dawkins (and his events) would fail and thus be considered trivial. The Tour was hugely successful for the type of event that it was. Regards!

@Christianjr4
I don't think this tour was "nothing", I just know it made very little impact, at all, over here
Dawkins quite regularly makes various news bulletins when he goes Stateside. However I genuinely didn't see a single report on any of our media, national or -even- local. The only report I found was when I went looking for one, on the internet, and eventually I found an article on a Christian site.
I don't think this qualifies as a success in terms of numbers, or publicity.

Just because you may have missed all of the reports doesn't mean they don't exist or that other people didn't see them. You may have missed Daniel Came's articles in the guardian about Dawkins' refusal to debate Craig but thousands of people commented on them. So too with the Independent and the Telegraph articles. I've seen at least 4 radio interviews with Craig (Craig actually did 12 in total), and 1 TV report. That's significant, since usually there isn't that much coverage.
