  • how do you make slippery elm powder? do you just crush the leaves up?

  • slippery elm powder is made from the inner bark, and best purchased pre-powdered.

  • What is the difference between an herbologist and an herbalist?

  • so grateful to find this. There is a more recent video with daughter and granddaughter making slippery elm balls, simply mixing with honey and keep in a sealed bag and I take a little everyday to keep my IBS under control really helpful.

  • Been wondering about this as i have had gerd for nearly 3 years now and dont like taking the medication for the doctors

  • Thank you so much Susan. I first heard of you through Learning Herbs and Im glad I did. Question: Can I make my slippery elm balls in batches. How long with they keep and how should I store them?

  • thanks for that. i've recommended this to my mum who's going to hospital tomorrow to have some horrible camera inserted unnecessarily to help diagnose her stomach problem. thankfully though i think she's beginning to open up to the concept of natural healing/preventative medicine, and due to the wisdom of people such as yourself i am able to point her in the right direction. cheers :):)

  • Hi, I was wondering if there is a particular brand for the capsules and/or powder I should get? Thanks.

  • How much of the powdered version should one take?
