Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge has a staggering 3 octave vocal range. Understand that he is a tenor which is why his lows may not sound as low as someone like Johnny Cash. But his highs are... well... high!

The songs with there lowest and highest notes are as follows:

Open Your Eyes - A2
Burn It Down - C3#
12/31 - D5 to F5
Big Verb - B4 to D5
Sick and Wrong - D5 to C5
Lyla - C5 to E5 to D5
Find the Real - G4# to B5 to C5#
Save Me - B4 to D5
Ties That Bind - A4 to C5 to D5
Coming Home - D5 to C5# to D5
Summergirl - D5 to F5# to E5 and down

  • @cvillebrillo Actually, he set a new 30 record !!!... :)

  • This man is the one of the best singers I've heard in my life. In addition to achieving high notes, it can sustain them for a long time. It's incredible!

  • @mpv3000 actually its just short of 4 octaves since A2-F5# would be 3 octaves and 10 semitones if i'm correct?

  • He hits f'#5 in Words Darker Than Their Wings.

  • I think in Find the Real (in the "info" section) you meant to say B4, not B5 ;)

  • One of the best singers ever :)

  • @Wmunchken doubt it

  • insane! from 1:13 to 1:33, he holds that note out for 20 seconds!

  • Myles has a 4 octave voice, listen to Traveling Riverside Blues

  • Boy he sure loves that D.
