actually david's album 'spectrum vii' has a distinct buffet influence on some of the songs, and its one of coe's best albums. check it out it was released in '79. also buffett's 70's albums are really good - he just went CEO and mainstream as he went into the 80's. Coe's body of work can stand up to ANYBODYS & dont just get his 'greatest hits' album either-every single album he made with billy sherrill as producer is as perfect as country rock can get.

I just heard this one on XM's Alt Country & it rocks like D.A.C. did back in the day! I went to see him at a packed Cancun Cantina by BWI/Marshall Airport outside of Baltimore last year where he sat in a chair played a couple of his songs & a few standards and covers then house audio took over & my server said DAC has left the building in the span of little over an hour w/ no encore! I'll just have to watch him on YouTube from now on! But he's sure got the stars & music producers pegged !
