This album was release at #1 on the R&B charts and in the top 10 on the Pop charts. I could not wait to buy it and was drawn in with his view on the subject of plant life. As the years went by I embraced it more and more. I think it's some of the best work he ever did. His voice was golden and the sound was still analogically pure. I lovehearing the pops, scratches and imperfections throughout the whole thing.
