Raunioilla is really one of my most favorite songs... My personal opinion is that the lyrics are basically about Ragrarök (the end of the world), as well as also about christiniazation of the Nordic countries... I love it because they mention our Finnish pagan god Ukko in the lyrics... The god heaven and thunder.

@666JJK666 Finland is a part of fennoscandinavia.

@666JJK666 The Nordic countries make up a region in Northern Europe and the North Atlantic which consists of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden and their associated territories, the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland. In English, Scandinavia is sometimes used as a synonym for the Nordic countries, but that word may also refer more narrowly to Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Quoted from Wikipedia.

...Finland is not a part of Scandinavia.... Scandinavia is Norway, Sweden and Denmark....

@abider80 No, Finland is not part of scandinavia you imbecil.. Finland is part of the Nordic countries. Scandinavian countries shares first and most importantly the same linguistic roots.

There is just no way I could rave enough about this band, and this song in particular. It's a perfect flow of power and emotions, mellow enough to swallow you when you listen, yet powerful enough to make your heart beat harder when you feel his singing. It's my favourite song on so many levels, and I thought that I'd share.
