Conformity: to shed your true personality just to fit in, and deny the
Heresy: in which you know you are becoming a part of. Allow
Racism: and judgment to categorize your specific "belief", even though you know it is an
Injustice: to allow skin color and judgmental ways to corrupt your attempt at reaching
Sanctity: Which you know by now is unreachable, and allow the initial shock of
Tragedy: to continue to manipulate you into the
Insanity: that is controled and edited by the U.S goverment.

@Aaronsolnelson simplified, nonetheless. if you want to hear an actual conflict, youtube "johnny cash - god s gonna cut you down". and, just fyi, "Ya svoboden" means "i m free":-) i can understand the lingo a bit.

@Massacrus Yeah, I've actually resolved my issues with religion vs. intellectualism crap and agree that it is much easier to sit back and complain that something doesn't make sense rather than do something about it and figure out what you believe in. I have been able to relate to this song better than any other song I can think of and am very happy that I am no longer in that state of mind. I just wanted to share my take on it and what it means to me. But thanks for caring!

@Aaronsolnelson eh, grow up. it s easy to contradict and seem smart, it s hard to come up with a constructive solution.

This song has meant a lot to me. I hear it as a prayer to a God that I want desperately to believe in, but the whole thing is set in the context of it being a terrible lie. It's a struggle I've dealt with for years and it is very comforting to hear it put into words with such emotion.
thumbs up if you've been told a Terrible Lie and this song makes ya feel better :D

I crowd surfed during this song in Sydney, Australia in 2005. Still hasn't been topped in terms of personal epic moments. During the same gig I carried an unconscious girl from the mosh pit to the ambulance resuscitation station and was sought out and thanked by her boyfriend after the show. Unbelievable night; I felt like the king of the world. Then I went to a bar afterward and spilled a beer on my crotch which brought me back down to Earth. One of the most amazing nights of my life.
