i really like the camera interface. Ypou only need to use 2 main buttons to get to menus, and arrows to pick stuff on those menus.
my only downside to camera is the pics arent the greatest sometimes. i have to manually pick a mode instead of point and shoot.

this is officially called youtube or normal quality, so maybe you are talking about if quality is better in high quality and ultra high quality modes, where the file size is big, but quality is better. i can watch youtube mode on my 40 inch tv and be fairly happy about quality. some pixelation shows up. but ultra high quality is pretty nice if viewing it on big screen. but at cost of bigger filesize.

I think i used songs off Muse's last album for my tests. 'Map Of The Problematique'
i just wish the zoom was better on the camera. other than that, with a 8gb card, u can take between 1.5-7.5hrs of video, depending on quality.

good quality for very low filesize format that youtube likes. Wont take forever to upload to youtube since its already small file.
The Casio's with youtube mode also have regular quality video which is really great for showing on tv.
With 8gig card in camera can take 8 hrs of youtube quality or 1.5hrs of very high quality video. I think i would get the EV-8 if i had to reget a casio dig camera. it has nice zoom and still good battery life.

... You can check out my other videos to see how it performs in real life. the las vegas vids a month ago and cake concert are good examples.
i shoot about 7.5 hrs of youtube video for 8 gig card. or 1.5 hrs at ultra high quality, but then at UHQ, it takes a long time to upload and convert to youtube. but youtube mode clips upload much quicker.
