  • Funny how these soccer moms and nascar dads, who drive gas guzzlers and refuse to drive the speed limit to save gas will bitch because the countries they bomb won't give them cheap oil, so here they are bitching about 3.50 gallon while at the same time they drive 20 miles over the speed limit and live in their 250-300,000 dollar homes. "Why do they hate us?", that's my favorite question they always ask. Okay boys & girls, let's get in our suvs and run over people and give em the finger.

  • Bubba:

I was long on the Market untill 13000 and now I am short:) ... Do you know what 500 shares of Fannie short are worth:) .. Let it burn!

  • LOL, I know a few white conservatives who tried to flip a house over the past 2 years, now I just want my original investment back.

We all got greedy, didn't we.

  • This "Obamination" quickly spread to all sectors of borrowers, so that, e.g., white Liberals tried to get rich off of it, too. Even today, Obama calls for "social justice" to expand such corrosive policies to other industries. Yet, Democrats are blaming those who warned against such fascism, while imbecilic Republicans keep trying to be polite and low key.

  • Yes, sound lending practices were compromised in red-line districts, but as I said this accounted for only 20% of sub-prime lending.

A full 80% of sub-prime lending occurred outside of red-line areas, areas where Acorn doesn't even exist.

Have you ever heard of "McMansions" or the suburbs of Las Vegas?

If the scope of the sub-prime problem was limited to CRA lending it would be manageable.

  • Bubba! PAY ATTENTION!

    2. "Community Reinvestment Act" -- alter FEDERAL LAW so "community organizers" (like ACORN & Greenlining) dictate lending practices to lenders.

The Democrat fascists established federal laws like FFIEC CRA & granted "community organizers", like ACORN & Greenlighting, authority to dictate race-based lending practices to lenders. In conjunction with their other Affirmative Racism laws, the Democrats thereby intimidated lenders into ABANDONING sound lending practices.

  • Fannie and Freddie only accounted for 20% of sub-prime lending, 80% was private sector lending.

Private mortgage lenders made the problem much worse.

  • maestoso47 don't you mean Barney Frank and his cronies are sitting around the hearth having champagne and crumpets at this news?

  • Let Freddie and Fannie fall. I'm sure Bush and his cronies are sitting around the hearth having champagne and crumpets at this news. Everything went according to plan, isn't that right, Georgie?

  • Obama has to get Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac back together, they were doing well! Don't let them be torn apart by a simple worldwide economic collapse!
