Frankly Jazz was a half-hour television program produced in Los Angeles in the early 1960s. Each program featured one or more prominent West Coast Jazz performer of the day. Frankly Jazz was hosted by Frank Evans, a leading jazz disk jockey of the day. This clip is of Curtis Amy playing "Katanga."
The lp is impossible to find, the cd reissue was available for about 10 minutes years back. To see a live performance from 1962 with the illusive Dupree Bolton is just amazing. This show needs to be available on DVD. End of story.

Spectacular - never dreamed I'd see Amy or Crawford on video, let alone Bolton, much less all three together!!! Thanks so much for sharing.
