Me reviewing the Simmons SD5K Drum Kit. Just as a reminder, the SD5K kit is the most inexpensive kit, so durability is a factor (in terms of not having much durability). I say this because my bass pad broke, but Simmons was very understanding and replaced it. So don't get frustrated, because they WILL REPLACE IT.

  • I'm lucky I have my own bass pedal cause of my dad and his old acoustic drum kit he has.

  • I have the same kit and i play all kinds of music from punk to jazz and I have no problems with the bass picking up the sound when I play fast! The kits not bad for a beginner but if you want something more professional I would recommend a Roland.

  • can you put a double bass pedal on this?

  • where's the hi-hat?

  • Wow. the one kit that i find cheap and it looks awesome. i would get it but with no double bass pedal i dont stay entertained. on to the next set...

  • @STF1717 that because i personally own this kit and feel like the bounce and feel is very dead. anyways i hope this helped and good luck with upgrading your kit

  • @STF1717 if you want to add more, i think you would have to get a whole new brain (control panel) because there just arent enough inputs in the stock brain. you can look into it more but keep in mind that brains are very expensive so i think dishing out that cash on a cheaper roland kit because those are better quality and i think that quality would be more perfered over quantity especially because of roland kits having better sounds and a more realistic bounce than this simmons kit, and i know

  • i wanna get this for my birthday is my parents can afford it this year
