As an ex-Cheadle Heath born boy myself (formerly at 1, Eva Road, 1947 to 1954), I must say this is excellent, but why has the video been uploaded in the wrong aspect ratio, with the image all squeezed? It detracts from the entertainment value and, as everyone knows, presentation is all important in something like this. By the way, is that Gorsey Bank footbridge over the River Mersey you are seen walking across, or what we used to call The Monkey Bridge over the railway off Bird Hall Lane?

Hi David, Thanks. I'll have a look at the aspect thing, I just uploaded it the usual way. Yes, it is Gorsey Bank Bridge! The other scenes in the video are at Gorsey Bank, Abney Hall Park, Cheadle and St. Mary's Church, Cheadle Village. Are you by any chance related to an Alan Rayner?
