Remember this is an expert aerobatic flyer, I fly aerobatics in an Rv and let me tell you this pilot is GOOD..He has to be to get a down to the ground waiver to be allowed to do aerobatics at an airshow..Mortal pilots have to be above 1500' above ground. Acro is easy to screw up and overstress the airframe. just cus this guy can do it in a utility airplane does not mean you can! Please get training before attempting aerobatics.

Hi is not GOOD , he is Jimmy Franklin.

Ma il motore è un 912 ul normale?

How are made these kitfox planes (material)???

I guess you don't skip anything on the pre flight when you do this kind of thing.
NICE

Why it is flying so low?
-
boy he sure dose like to finish his loops close to the ground

Well for Jimmy franklin this is very god margins. He usually flied with much less margins. Unfortunately it would seem, to small as he was killed in an accident 2005. I would not try it myself but I agree it's really neat to see that the kitfox can handle it.. (gives another kind of margins)

well good stunt but this guy have zero margin...not such a good plan to get old in aviation.

The best
What prop and engine? Goes well! I thought the Kifox was not supposed to do aero's? Looks ok there to me.
Unless it was a special job?

The Kitfox Speedster (which is essentially just a 29 ft wing Model IV-1200) in the video used an 81 hp Rotax 912ul and a GSC 3 blade ground adjustable prop. It would have done much better with an IVO IFA, which Kitfox played with later on this same airplane.
Kitfox says not designed for acro, but as you can see in the video... if done properly it is a great sport acro aircraft. The Kitfox used in this video was a bone stock Kitfox Speedster. Nothing special whatsoever.

Glad you liked it. I'll put some more up one of these days when I have some free time.
Yeah, I've checked out your videos too. NICE!!! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for filming and posting this. It brings back memories. I saw that act at OSH that year, where the Kitfox was a main attraction for me. I have now put 400 hrs on a Model IV Speedster as a result. I was amazed how small the aerobatic box was for that act, due to the maneuverability of the Kitfox, which, to show its versatility, was flown there at 120 MPH on 80 HP, and the wings fold, too!

Glad you enjoyed the video. Nice to see others enjoy it like I do.
The Kitfox is a marvelous airplane with extrememly nimble/agile handling characteristics, and if flown by an expert (like Jim Franklin was...), it nothing short of amazing in what it can do. I like mine more every time I fly it...
