nice pot ! you make it look easy. Keep on potting!

It doesn't look like your throwing on a bat. How do you get the piece off the wheel.

Great demo, how many pounds of clay was this piece?

@PsychicDavidJames My guess is 12 pounds. This question is so important almost a lot of people watching my videos ask. Again, I seldom weigh my clay and I don't think that is important. I think people ask me how many pounds of clay I used is that they want to try if they can used the same amount of clay to make the size of pot or larger. The size of pot is depending on how wet or dry, and what materials you used (porcelain/stoneware). An experienced potter can tell when to stop pulling.

@hsinchuen personally i like to know roughly about how much pounds i'm looking at in the video because it helps me get an idea of what goes into making something even if its off by several pounds the correlation between what i'm seeing on the screen and the pounds is helpful for me, especially because i not an experienced potter.

@tatteredgrey Like I said in my other video that I don't have a scale to measure my clay. The information of how many pounds of clay I used is still my guess.
