You missed a few thinks,

- no lens hood to eliminate the flares

- not alined in center of the sensor instead in center of the camera

- not switched to manual focus (I've clearly heared the beep)

- not coverd the viewfinder to prevent "backsun" or switched to live view...

The most clients of adorama are professionals - so you may show every little bit to get a 'professional' panorama, not just a quick'n'dirty holiday panorama, should'nt you?

Before you cropped you could have also used content aware to fill in the missing spots.
