I think Dr. Paul contorts the words of the PM. I am no Netanyahu fan but I think the point he was trying to make judging by other speeches I've read of his is he is bragging how Israel is not like "the Arab countries" and saying that it isn't like other Middle Eastern Countries. He was saying we wouldn't need to invade like Iraq/Afghanistan. He wasn't saying leave us alone. He asked for military aid while he was here. Dr. Paul is wrong here.

The statement by Netanyahu is very clear... they do not need our help. They want our money... and that is why he was in Washington... I do believe when it comes down to it that we should help Israel if there was a need to do so, but we are foolish to keep pouring money into country after country while our own is clearly in trouble. We need to stop promoting the idea that Iran is somehow a threat and mind our own business when it comes to Israel working out its diplomatic relationships.

Funny how people call Israel a poor country starving for US aid. Thing they don't really know is that the aid to Israel is mainly for military purpose and not humanitarian.... Therefore Israel upgrade their military and even introduce it to the US and Nato to similar upgrades. Israel pay back every thing that they owe to the US by any means.
