Thank you, Figen. I "favorited" your website. I find it very interesting. This video is also helpful. I am repainting because right now all the walls are white or pale yellow, and I find that I don't get much done and I'm uninspired. So, when I'm done painting each room, I will sit down and design each room, maybe move some walls for better flow, and to meet functional needs as well as make it fit and more inspiring from a Feng Shui perspective.

My pleasure!- I am still working on getting comfortable with making videos as you can see!
I forgot to address two things: I think the idea of a shade lighter ceilings are wonderful- unless it is a naturally a dark room where you need to work in; then you will need a white ceiling to reflect more light. Accent walls are great; you might think about doing them in every room, though- they might become monotonous if it is in every room rather than being unexpected and different.
