Scotch-Brite™ Durable Flex Belt for Right Angle Stainless Steel finishing

This application features the new Scotch-Brite Durable Flex belt. It is an aggressive and long lasting non-woven belt for use in deburring, finishing, blending, and cleaning. The reinforced low-stretch backing offers good flexibility and great edge durability. Excellent for portable belt tools. 3M has developed a 3 step system using a 4" contact wheel to prevent undercutting. First step is to level the weld using 977F 50 grit belt. In step 2 you blend the edges of the weld by using a 777F 120 grit scalloped belt, this helps prevent undercutting. Step 3 you refine the scratch using the new Scotch-Brite Durable Flex belt to a 32 micro inch dairy finish Scotch-Brite and 3M are trademarks of 3M.
