Swipesy (guitar arr. by Takashi Hamada)

Performed at "Heartbeat" in Fukuoka, 2003.
Guitar : Yamaha S-51.

"Swipesy (Cake Walk)" (1900), composed by Scott Joplin & Arthur Marshall, is one of my favorite classic rags, and I have played many times as well as "Maple Leaf Rag".

It is in my CD "Climax Rag", which was released by TAB Guitar School in 1999 and contains 11 classic rag arrangements, 2 originals, and "The 3rd Man's Theme".

この曲、昔、練習しました。　The Entertainer　The Third Man's Theme

The　Easy　Winners　など　オタルナイ　チューニングは、独特でした。

マスターした後で、レギュラー　に、戻すと　音感が全く　麻痺　して

他の曲が、弾けなくなった。（照笑）

著書にうたわれた様に、チューニングを変えると、全く別の楽器に­なりますね

Rag　time　にかけては、国内では、”クライマックスラグ”

この楽譜が　私はラグでは、一番のお気に入りなのです。

こうして、著者の方の演奏が見れて嬉しいです。
