i strongly believe ld bell is great marching and im absolutely dissapointed for this year because of marcus getting first for using so many props....if thats the case then every band should be using props on the field during their shows and make it nothing but distractions!!!!

i personally aboslutley loved marcus's show. it was good. it wasn't just the props. It was a very effective show, all around. i had marcus first in my book.

My best friend was a colorguard senior this year, and I noticed how the members acted to praise, and brought up the question to her. She said that it was a long tradition that Bell was to act with the utmost professionalism in every encounter they came across while in uniform. She said that the seniors told them that it was better to nod and say thank you, or say nothing at all, rather than make a fool of yourself. Again, I'm not in band, my forte is track, but my friend loves this activity.

The drill writer for this LD Bell wrote drill for my band this year. It was ok, but I think he writes a little better for these guys :D

Really good show BTW. LD Bell is always pleasant to watch

@nascarfreak88dale you should check out the Spirit Of Saginaw Band. They are in the DFW area as well, and they Have hard shows with fast tempos, and they actually play while marching. They made it to UIL state this year for their first year being a 5A school. That's awesome if you ask me. They've also made it to state 2 other times in 4A, and this is only the 6TH year the school has been open. Awesome band. They started a great tradition in that school.

ok. i dont know if im the only one who knows this but. LD BEL IS NOT A MARCHING BAND!!! srsly... they are a marching THEN playing band. yes they sound good and their show is very fun to watch. but they are given WAYYYY to much credit... I think that the bands that deserve SO much more credit are richland, westlake, bowie. all of there shows are SOOO much more hard to march (ei. holding a super c while jazz running) srsly... anyone can march Ld Bells show. If you dont believe me watch it again..

Well Marcus got 4th and the Music Caption. They beat 3 Indiana Bands at their first showing. I think they did pretty well for their first showing.

This is the onlyand that know what to bring up to Indy, and i respect that, not only are they clean but they are loud at times. Bands like Marcus don't know what they're getting into. They're going to have to bring for Grand Nats.

this band is so amazing, the music, the drill, the colorguard work. congrats on the first place win at boa this past week. i knew you all would get first, just wished i could have seen your show. but we had to leave the same day we performed, which was friday.
