Andres Yepez playing Steve Vai's classic tune Tender Surrender...

My Rig:
Ibanez Jem 7VWH
Mesa Boogie Triaxis
Mesa Boogie Simul Class 2:90
Mesa Boogie Thiele 1x12
Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster
Morley Bad Horsie
TC Electronic G-Major

It was recorded as one take with a digital camera with the camera microphone...
(This video is my interpretation of a great tune, it's not a Chops demonstration or something like that)
It sure will be a great day when most of the guitar players realize that music is an art and not a competition...

  • Is the Thiele Mesa Boogie 1x12 good choise for extra cabinet in mark IV?

    Thank you.

  • @icsdgeo I haven't tried the Mark IV, but i can tell you that i think that the thiele 1x12 cab it's for sure the best 1x12 cabinet i've ever tried... Much better that most 4x12..

  • @Fragero1990 I don't understand your comment.. In the video you can't see my face or or even less know what i'm feeling.. Do you know how to play this tune?? You can't play this tune without feel... This is a very emotional tune for me, and it means a lot to me.. I highly recommend to you to read the last part of the video description...

  • prob my fav song ever nice...ive tried and am close but the high speed piccking right before it calms back down gets me everytime..i noticed you improvised there with hammers and pulls and I ve seen that before but not as good as the way you pulled it off....Im not criticizing if irt seems that way....Im saying great job Im very impressed,,,,,thats why Steve Vai is who he is eh

  • great interpretation! Awesome sound and unlike many other guitar covers not showing off at all.

  • Beautiful, dude! That was an awesome cover. You didn't play it note for note, tone for tone. You totally added your own feel to it.
