Alexander Ovechkin : Man or Machine?

This is an inside joke tribute video to my favorite hockey player, Alexander Ovechkin - a crossover between NHL hockey and Battlestar Galactica, my favorite show. It started out from a joke that a friend of mine made after Ovi's monster goal against Montreal in February 2009, when we both decided that he was clearly not a human, but instead a cylon (a robot that looks like a human).

The music in this piece is Bear McCreary's Prologue to Battlestar Galactica, and neither it nor any of the clips used in this belong to me. The video has been modeled off of the official introduction to the new Battlestar Galactica series (which you should be watching if you don't already). No copyright infringement is intended with this video - it is strictly for entertainment purposes.

Ovechkin is good dont get me wrong. BUT THIS MUTHA FUCKA IS A PUCK HOG. he is selfish as fuck. Crosby would have as many goals at Ovie but Sid sets up fuckin plays he is not selfish at all.

See... I'm gonna disagree to a point - Ovi and Sid play different positions; as a center, it's just as much Sid's job to set his wingers up as it is to score himself, but Ovi's a winger w/ a crazy shot, dude's supposed to score. Could he pass more? Sure, but I'd hesitate to call him a selfish puckhog. Guess that's just me, though... thanks for at least not coming in w/ the typical "OVI SUCKS" post and being obnoxious :P

Yeah... the goal inspired it all (one of the cylon songs came on spontaneously the first time we watched it) so it really HAD to be included XD  Thanks!!
