@waterfowlmagnet ...you mean the same nate wellman that suggested buying a fish (whether he was serious or not, who knows) but didn't actually buy the fish? Hmm, good logic. If you check the tournament results, he won that tournament on his own fish and didn't need the help of the one he offered to buy. Nice try though. I'm sure in some tournaments somewhere guys have bought fish. I can say from experience that it does not happen often.

fair warning to his intended route is irrelevant if the said route is 2 feet from another boat. as he goes by you can see that there is plenty of room for him to go around on the outside of all the boats. yes, you can get DQd for unsafe boating when it's that bad. And as for buying fish...guys don't buy fish, they pay for info/spots. they still have to catch em on tournament day. i don't agree with it, but it is what it is. go fish a bassmaster event before you start acting like you know it all

@swburton316 He gave fair warning as to his intended route which looked to be the safest. If I were Randy I would rather he blow through and not mess up my bank that I'm fishing than a 1/4 throttle 2 foot wake. reguardless you can get DQed in BASS for obeying CG rules but not for buying fish. Says alot about the organization..........

@waterfowlmagnet he wasn't impeding gman from getting through, he could've gone around all the follow boats on the outside. also, bassmaster tournament rules aren't the same as coast guard rules. love swindle, but that was a dick move.

USCG Rules:

A vessel of less than 20 meters in length or a sailing vessel shall not

impede the passage of a vessel which can safely navigate only within a

narrow channel or fairway.----- A vessel engaged in fishing shall not impede the passage of any other

vessel navigating within a narrow channel or fairway.
