At 11:00 p.m. (eastern time), MSNBC, through the voice of Keith Olbermann, declared Democratic Senator Barack Obama the projected winner of the 2008 presidential campaign against his opponent, Republican Senator John McCain. I've been waiting for this moment, in some ways, since 2002 or 2003when it was becoming painfully evident to me that the Bush Administration had lied to us about why the U.S. needed to invade and attack Iraq. I vowed at that point that I would never again vote for another Republican to sit in the White House. I have been following Obama's political career since 2004. It's been a long time coming.
fuck republicans, i'm gonna eat them in hell, fuckin nazi mothafuckers

You are incorrect, visara1313. The choice of article is actually based upon the phonetic (sound) quality of the first letter in a word, not on the orthographic (written) representation of the letter. If the first letter makes a vowel-type sound, you use "an"; if the first letter would makes a consonant-type sound, you use "a."

Well, it would help visara1313 if he/she was actually correct, instead of calling me a moron for following proper rules of grammar.
