On February 16th 2011, Toronto Police cops visited the Roy McMurty Youth Centre (RMYC), in Brampton, Ontario to learn about graffiti art from graffiti community builder Kedre "Budz" Browne. In attendance was former Toronto Argonauts Chuck Winters, who now works as a Recreation Officer at RMYC.
A message of hope, skills development and a relationship of trust and respect was fostered with youth at the facilty on the theme of graffiti art.
Special attention was focused on teaching youth the value of anonymous reporting through Crime Stoppers to help the police PREVENT violence.
