Free birthday dessert at Abou El Sid

To celebrate Kiran and Vik's birthday, we went to Abou El Sid in Zamalek (after a felluca ride on the Nile) to get some dinner.

Six dishes (including pigeon), three appetizers, tons of juices.

Great restaurant and food for LE 765 (tip included). That's $135 US for eight people... you can't beat that for what we got!

Afterwards, we got some free dessert and sang Happy Birthday, in both English and Arabic. It's still a mystery how they knew it was their birthdays....
