Hi Countsteff, thanks for your video its very inoformative. My car is having issue starting on first try it will not start, but on 2nd or 3rd normally starts. I am suspecting its the battery. I dont have any check lights on. I messure the battery myself and i am geting 12.2 V the bettery itself is white and has BMW on it. I think its the stock battery. My car is 04 M3 and by this time would make it 8years old, could be time to get a new one.

Thank you, I was able to replace the battery no problems. Super helpful!!!

The job should not be attempted by an owner. The dealer took over an hour of constant work replacing the 900 amp battery in my friend's cabriolet m3. Resetting the computers took about half an hour. Major amount of work!

Bad video - It`s better and safer to undo negative pole of battery, because when you`r undoing positive pole with metal key, you can short it with cars metal parts!
Good point Gunman112 you are correct sir you should remove the neg terminal first.

Do the battery connection terminals need greasing up when hooking up a new battery??

@SupaSix1 I do not grease my terminals and have had no problems.
