@metalcorejoe Yes his ASC was off, And he uses S-Sport mode when he runs. His username is "sonnysmr" scroll down and you'll find him. Thanks for watching.

The camshafts of the evolution and ralliart are identical. They even carry the same part number in the service manual. Originally Mitsu was going to have a milder cam in the RA, but they didn't go through with it.

I have owned 3 DSM's over the years so yes rpguy, I do know what "D" stands for. Do you? Just in case you dont, let me take you to school... The "D" stands for Diamond, as in Diamond from the Mitsu Badge/Emblem. The "S" for Star, as in Pentastar from the Chrysler Badge/Emblem. Lastly the "M" for motors, which gives us Diamond Star Motors. FYI, TheEclipse was still referred to as DSM long after DSM had ended.

@girvinman You do know what the D stands for in DSM right? If you did know what the D stood for you wouldnt have made that silly comment, awd in the new eclipses would not qualify them as DSMs.

@bjjpath Ralliart has a much stiffer suspension then the WRX, but the WRX is much more fun to drive (IMO I tried them both).

@ootubelover10 I've driven them all. Truth is most Evo owners tend to hate on other lancers to try to justify their purchase and insurance rates. I see it all over the web Truthfully even the GTS handles pretty good. The Ralliart is a better deal not only purchase wise but all the money you save on insurance you can spend modding the car to outrun Evos. The GSR needs another gear and the MR is slow for its price range. A fully loaded MR cant even beat a heavy srt8 charger in a quarter mile.

WTF man dat can never take the evo...is eitherr dat jus a lancer x not evo x..or somthing worng wit it..all i do to my evo8 is boost controller and turbo pipe upgrade smoke camaro ss like nothing and more...dat cant be true..sorry to say

You forgot to mention that entire chassis and suspension are completely different as well as the electronics. The Ralliart is just a lancer with detuned Evo engine and drivetrain. Not too much is shared with the Evo. Chassis, suspension, brakes, electronics, turbo, ground effects, and of course prestige... Thats not to dismiss the Ralliart, still a fantastic AWD Turbo car that is fast as hell. IMO they should slap that engine/drivetrain into the Eclipse and make a "real" DSM again!
