  • the way he drives that key change into the last verse with his voice is the greatest thing ever.

  • In my opinion, this is better than original released version.

  • epic song. reminds me of the good old days of v8's, big holley's, 4 speeds, locker diffs and no fckng fixed cameras b/t the lights.

  • Does anyone know why it's a '69 Chevy with a 396 on Darkness but on this version it's a '32 Ford with a 383? I'm pretty sure the only live versions he did include the Chevvy and not the Ford.

  • hay mejores dias

  • AWESOME

  • I like this version, but the album version on Darkness is one of the best things Bruce has ever done. This version sounds like a "Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band" song - all big and brawny and all. And that's good - I mean, I'm a huge fan, right? But the version on "Darkness" fits the album's theme - "life is what happen when you park the suicide machine" - perfect.

I love 'em both - but I'll speak up for the album version.

  • i like this song better than the original one becuase of the beautifull harp intro.... just a song to forget all albout your troubles and the daily routines of life.... thank you bruce and the E street band. rip clarence and danny

  • who is the soulless person who missed the "like" button?

  • this is far better than the album version, although they both have their advantages, this has beautiful harmonica playing and goes to a place i always wish the other one will go.superb, lovely depiction of a wonderful attainable part of life

  • A wonderful song but this might just better it, my old mans favourite Bruce Song!!
