  • Ever try knocking on your average turntable? They don't keep trucking along like this one does.

  • I don't think it's a good idea to diss the Technics. They're tremendous decks that's responsible for the whole market. Technics fanboys are as bad as they get but the Technics decks themselves are nothing to ridicule. The wow and flutter rating on those is truly magnificent.

  • LOL!!! You people hate Technics cause y'all can't afford them. So you guys get crap turntables from a brand that's starting to go under. I tried this model with the S tonearm and it was the worse. Returned after 2 days. Wow there is a little more torque. Who cares! Ever wonder why Technics never changed their tables. That's cause they never needed too. Every DJ brand tries to mimic the 1200s & guess what! Technics still INDUSTRY STANDARD! Get over it people! Save up and get real decks!!

  • @TheReIntegration If I remember correctly, the ST 150 was more expensive than the 1200 when I got it.

  • Whats the song? On the vinyl sounds like a beverly hills cop song

  • If you did that to my Geminis they would explode. Nice Stanton :)

  • @mbvglider But the shitty thing is.... Technic stop making the 1200 series because they are too good and don't break down if kept well!

  • Technics are no more cause of the price... They wouldn't drop the price which lead to closing down

  • @SiriusXAim In practise/reality the flutter difference is minimal between them. You can check this it traktor/serato with timecode. The flutter is so low on both that its impossible to notice. The stanton has a much better platter motor control system. 1210s slingshot back if you lightly brush the platter. This makes it not possible to do fine adjustments without having to do a pitch fader slide. Stantons do not have this problem.

  • @PANDEMONIUMDJ It's true that the ST 150's got a much higher torque, more efficient break, and can play reverse (even if I wonder who plays his records backward)

But Technics's got less wow and flutter effect (0.01 VS 0.1 for the ST-150) And better electronics too. Plus it comes with a dust cover...

  • Mine can do it : I's a Technics.

  • @TheReIntegration STR8/ST-150s are a lot better than 1210s. Ive got both and can compare

  • @TheReIntegration they dont make technics no more... and some ppl like me. dont like to buy used stuff.. pretty shure u will buy and old nice car w an engline that dont work..

  • @mbvglider i dont think is good to diss the pagers. and im pretty shure u change to a cell phone right?

technology keeps advancing.. Y arent u righting a horse? couse now u have a car.. haaaaaaaa ok..

  • only reason technics might jump is because of the cunts who cant set them up right.
