This is a disgusting display of human greed and total disregard for the animals health. Dolphins live a maximum of 5 years in these tanks often commit suicide from stress, they are continuously medicated for stress induced ulcers and are on antidepressants. Dolphins communicate via sonar, when they are shut in these tiny tanks they cannot bear the noise bouncing off the tank walls and the sound of the crowd is excruciating to them.

These dolphins are caught in the wild, taken from their family and shoved in a chlorinated prison for you to enjoy. They are forced to perform for you to get food, and are fast the learn, they are intelligent and beautiful creatures who can only survive in their natural environment. I please think twice about buying tickets to aquariums, as this only increases the demand for these cruel shows.
