This Shark Boat's Skipper has to be the master of the understatement when he says after the Shark gets stuck in the underwater cage, "The worst fear I had is that one of these guys is going to get in between those teeth"!
The fact the 'chum' was in front of the cage, and the shark could change direction quickly enough to miss the cage might have had something to do with it, don't you think Mr Skipper?

@randyscubadude couldn't have said it better myself!

did the shark get out? is it ok? you can't just trap it and leave it there. they are a protected species!!!!!

Hmm..I don't see any attacking. "It goes for the first bite"...Where? It's in panic and tries to get out from the cage.

Exactly! I was there, and you are in no danger in the cage. They poke and nibble - one bit off a corner of the cage, but they are still only after the chunks we threw in the water, not us. Big gaps let us get great photos and touch the sharks, but the people outside the cage took more risk, and they felt safe as well. A well fed shark is a harmless shark.
