Wish I still had the vinyl LP of Thriller. I had it at one point but replaced it with the tape and later on the CD version
-
Or, about the same time where 45 RPM singles made 78 RPM records irrelevant.
-
Even if it gets ruined, these Lp-'s are so easy to find and can be had for cheap..
-
My record player does not have a 78 option.
-
HAHAHA Thriller by Alvin and the Chipmunks, too cool

Hey, thanks for the free publicity, BrooklynMouseReturns! Everyone who sees this ought to check out my channel (and now I'm exploiting you. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!)

OUCH!! that can put some major wear on that copy, due to the increased speed and temperature of the stylus.
-
I certainly hope that is a duplicate you are playing.

When did record companies stop producing 78 RPM records? I remember my friends doing this with tape decks that had high speed dubbing, I used to hate it when people did shit like this, I mean REALLY HATE IT!!!!!!!!

@Lachlant1984 Probably around 1958 or 1959 when record companies abandoned the 78 RPM format.
