Very cool! Bravo!

Funny, until this recent release of the new McCartney album, it hadn't dawned on me how much of the previous generation's great tunes were in all four of the Beatles' musical DNA , along with their Elvis, Buddy and Everley Brothers influences. And it was that which gave them their musical edge.

@matooli John said he was embarrased for Ringo for doing this? Well, Sentimental Journey is certainly better than John's later political solo album "Some Time in New York City" and frankly some of he stuff John did that featured Yoko is downright embarrasing and no I am not bashing Yoko or his relationship with her but honestly, muscially of a lot of her stuff is awful.
Ringo has nothing to be embarrased about as his versions of standards are charming.

Sweet! I love Ringo. He's a cool cat.

Nintendo was obviously paying attention. The First level from Super Mario Bros. 3 is basically this, speeded up.

I'm guessing that the number of views was so great it had to be shown in a shortened version. Like 11 million right? Must be

Each Beatle has something special, even Ringo. He has a limited voice but sure knows how to use it and has a good performance on the stage. That's why the Beatles were (are) THE BEATLES 4 ever! (and he does NOT sing out of tune).

The whole lp was made of songs that his mom liked - it was his tribute to some 'standards'
