"Blood Like Fire" is a song dedicated to the spirit of the Syrian people, written and performed by Dylan Connor. The scenes of peaceful protesters being gunned down by their own government are continuing right now. All of the images were captured by Syrians in the streets, because no outside media have been given access. Please give witness to the courage of these people and the brutality of their government. I said it on twitter, and I'll say it here again. People of Syria, your courage is beyond words. I may just be some guy from east los angeles, but my heart is over there with you. Assad will pay dearly for these crimes against humanity. People tell me why should i care about Syria. Because you are people, just like me, suffocating under oppression, fighting for justice. We live under a so called democracy, as long as we are poor, we are not.
