for me it is one of the best films ever done, and this is my favorite scene.. I notice virginia woolf''s pain in the Nicole kidman's voice. When she says "i m dying in this town" I understand perfectly her state of mind . BRILLIANT!!!!!

I live with the threat of my extinction... I wish for your sake I could be happy in this quietness... you cannot find peace by avoiding life.... Personally I've avoided life so long searching for peace... which I am yet to find.... this movie wakes me and brings me purpose... again...

Nicole Kidman was great as Virginia, though I regret they didn't make her look a little bit more like her. at that point Virginia Woolf looked like a skinny bird with huge eyes and hollow cheeks.
