MY Lightning w/ intake, exhaust, pulley, tune and water/methanol injection

VS

Chevy 2500 8.1 w/ Raylar heads, 106cam, Custom intake manifold and a 200hp shot of nitrous, a 2800 stall, RUNS RACE GAS, and launched in 4wd.

Race starts at :19 The Lightning caught the 8.1 at :31 sec and the 8.1 let off.

The 8.1 ran a BEST of 12.8 @ 107mph at the track. As VERIFIED by his other videos.
Lightning ran a 12.5 @ 109mph OFF BOTTLE at the track.
Hence why it was a close race. The Lightning ran a best of 11.5 @ 117mph ON BOTTLE. If the lightning would have had nitrous that race it would have been over quick!

@azfam520 i was saying, that AWD vehicles, ANNNND 4WD vehicles leave so smooth. I was talking about two types of drivetrains. and if you want to try and get technical....read this: All wheel drive (AWD) is almost the same thing as full time 4WD - it is a system that powers all four wheels of a vehicle at all times as well. It can be used full time on all surfaces including pavement like full time 4WD. Difference to full time 4WD is that a "4-low" setting is not available in AWD cars. any more ?s

@cantbsdave irregardless both trucks are modified, one by factory originally the other is aftermarket but after all they are both aftermarket... Ive seen turbocharged diesels literally smoke lil ricers that have higher acceleration rates than trucks cause the engine is designed for acceleration not trailer pulling or hauling heavy loads, heck the trucks would rip the cars apart easily

@blkce92 The 2500 launched in 4wd, 2wd will lose to 4wd off the line every time on the street lol. Unless the 4wd guy is a tool and can't drive but other than that it is no surprise to me at all that he beat him off the line.
